Platinum batteries, sold in to the aftermarket as replacement parts, are guaranteed against premature failure due to manufacturing or material defects only. In the event of such battery failure the battery should be returned, along with proof of purchase, to the original Platinum customer care centre, from where it was purchased, for testing. Subject to testing by the customer care centre the battery will be exchanged free of charge.
